ACT Europe achieved its first large grant from the DOB Ecology Foundation in the Netherlands in July 2019. The four year grant is meant to protect the rainforest in South Guyana, South Suriname, French Guiana, North Para and Amapa in Brazil in close collaboration with the indigenous communities in those areas: Trios, Wayanas, Wai Wais and Wayampis.
